She is a graduate in dental assisting program from CDI College, Scarborough with Honors and got her dental assistant degree from NDAEB.
You'll love her through her enthusiastic nature. She works hard to provide a comfortable dental experience in dentistry to all our patients.
Before moving to Canada, she has been working as a licensed dental surgical assistant in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, UAE for almost a decade.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking to the park with her family and she loves playing the piano.
Maksuda Amonova
Dental Assistant
Maksuda is the newest dental assistant in our family.
She is an Uzbekistan native and her fluency in several languages such as Russian, Uzbek, English and Farsi ensures a more comfortable experience to all patients.
Her capacity to predict and address her patients needs is a skill that can only be gained through her immense experience in the field.
She understands how difficult it can be for many individuals who have trouble understanding and communicating with their doctors, so she is dedicated to breaking the language barrier and helping to translate.
Mitra Bakhshiyan
Dental Assistant
She graduated as a dental assistant and also held a bachelor degree in Hotel Management in Tehran, Iran.
She joined Maxilla Dental Group in 2021 with already 20 years of experience in dentistry which had taught her how to understand and address the patients' needs and concerns.
She ensures that all patients are comfortable from the moment they walk in and clears up any questions given her immense experience in the field.
She has the capacity to make anyone who sits on the dental chair to feel at ease, and provides them guidance and assurance.
Ms. Bakhshiyan empathizes with all her patients and especially aids those that are nervous regarding a procedure.
She can also assist them in both English and Persian once they arrive at a Maxilla Clinic.
Mandana Poortoyserkani
Dental Assistant
Mandana, a highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing and dental care. With 14 years of experience as a nurse in her home country, she brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to her role as a certified dental assistant. Graduating from Anderson College in 2020 as a certified dental assistant level 1 and 2. Mandana is proficient in a wide range of dental procedures, including surgery, Endo, Implant, Filling and Ortho.
Since joining Maxilla Dental Clinic in 2021 as a part-time dental assistant, Mandana's exceptional abilities and dedication have led her to become the full-time assistant in our Yonge Location. Patients and colleagues alike appreciate her kindness and the level of expertise she brings to every aspect of her work. With Mandana on the team, our patients can trust they are in the hands of a caring and skilled professional, ensuring a positive and comfortable dental experience.
